Olivia is energetic and empathetic family lawyer who thrives on achievement of problem solving and assisting the people she advises, cares for and guides through relationship breakdown to overcome the challenges they are facing.
Having been recognised by her peers as a rising star in family law in 2019, 2020 & 2021, one of Olivia’s strengths lies in assisting people to find common ground, narrow issues in dispute and look for areas of agreement, wherever possible. Her approach is characterised by taking a big picture approach, distilling the issues and steering her clients away from unnecessary confrontation.

Having practiced exclusively in family lawyer since her admission in 2014, Olivia, has carefully honed her legal and interpersonal skills by working closely with both of the firms’ directors. With experience and maturity well beyond her years, she has been exposed to a wide range of family law issues including property settlements, parenting disputes, financial agreements and spousal maintenance.
With specialist experience in complex parenting matters, including international relocation, having successfully assisted in ensuring the return of children unilaterally removed from Australia from overseas, Olivia is committed to and tirelessly strives to achieve the best outcomes for her clients.
Prior to Olivia’s admission, she spent her final year of study working as an Associate to His Honour Chief Judge O’Brien, Chief Judge of the District Court of Queensland. Her experience working within the Courts gives Olivia a unique perspective about the operation of the court when assisting her clients.
A key characteristic of Olivia’s approach is her naturally empathetic approach and her instinctive ability to understand those she assists, to share their perspective whilst advising and guiding them as to the issues they are confronting in a sensitive and understanding manner.
In her time outside of the office, Olivia loves spending time outdoors – at the beach and on a stand up paddleboard, practicing meditation. She is an avid ‘healthy’ foodie.
