Family Law Associate

At Phillips Family Law, we are a high-performing, client-focused team working on complex family law matters. Our work is grounded in both technical excellence and practical, outcome-focused advice – delivered with empathy, clarity and strength.
As we continue to grow, we are seeking both a Lawyer and an Associate to join our team.
About the Opportunities
We are open to candidates at different stages of their career:
- Associate (4+ PAE): You are confident running matters independently, building client relationships, and contributing to team leadership and performance.
- In this role, you will work within a collaborative team structure, with appropriate oversight and support from experienced directors.

What You’ll Bring
- Admission as a lawyer in an Australian jurisdiction
- Experience in family law, including property and financial matters (financial agreements desirable)
- The ability to manage files with proactively, with a solutions-focused and forward-thinking approach
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
- A collaborative mindset, with the ability to both contribute to and support a team
- A minimum of 4 years post-admission experience
- Be confident running matters independently (with appropriate support from directors)
- Demonstrate leadership capability and support junior team members
