William is an analytical and thoughtful lawyer. He approaches new tasks with an open mind, embracing them as an opportunity for knowledge. When meeting a new client or taking on a new matter, William will always begin by asking questions to break down the big topics to better address the key issues. In doing so, he is skilled at identifying his client’s goals early, in order to keep them forefront as he advises them through their matter.

Admitted to the legal profession in 2019 after completing his Bachelor or Laws (Honours) and Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice, William has worked exclusively as a family lawyer since 2021.

Prior to this he worked for two years as a Judge’s Associate for three different Judges in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia. This gives William a unique perspective in being able to navigate the court system with clients. His aim is to assist clients to understand the practical reality of litigation. With that knowledge, William believes clients can be informed and confident in their decision-making and move through this process with purpose.

Williams’ determination to find the best solutions for his clients, paired with a thirst for knowledge, means William is interested in getting to know you and your circumstances personally and he considers your individual legal options.

Outside of work William is an accomplished musician as a Licentiate Musician of Australia (LmusA) with Distinction for Oboe (Performance). He also enjoys reading across a range of topics, and spending time in and around the ocean.
